1. How do I select a lesson and see its details?

Use the lesson picker menu at the top. Tap on a lesson number to load its content and description.

2. How can I refresh and download new lessons?

Tap the “Lessons” button with the refresh icon in the control bar. This downloads the latest lesson data from the server.

3. How do I switch between ‘Learn’ and ‘Listen’ modes?

Tap the Learn/Listen toggle button. “Learn” shows notes visually; “Listen” also plays the sound automatically.

4. How do I change instruments?

Use the instrument picker menu to select any available instrument sound. Playback will change instantly.

5. Why is my lesson not updating or missing?

Confirm that you have an active internet connection. Refresh lessons using the button; if issues persist, restart the app.

6. How can I favorite or filter lessons?

Tap the heart/star icon next to any lesson for favorites. Use the Fav lessons toggle button to display only those.

7. What if the sound or app behaves unexpectedly?

Try switching instruments, refreshing lessons, or restarting your device. Ensure your app is up to date.

8. How do I adjust the speed of lessons?

Change speed via the slider in the control bar, then start playback to practice at your chosen speed.

9. Can I use an external keyboard or import MIDI files?

Currently, lessons are from the server, but more advanced features may be added in future updates.

11. What is a falling note and how does it help me learn?

A falling note is a visual bar or rectangle that drops from the top of the screen towards the keyboard, indicating exactly when and which key to play. As the note aligns with the correct key, it cues both your eyes and fingers to play or listen at the right moment. This real-time animation makes learning timing and note location intuitive, helping users connect musical notes with their positions on the keyboard for faster, more engaging practice.
